Groovy Uncle- From The Medway Towns. Formed 2009.
Various Medway luminaries have contributed to the line-up of songwriter Glenn Prangnell’s Groovy Uncle project over the last few years.
Having chalked up a whopping 60 unreleased songs by the turn of the century, Glenn decided it was high time these were put to bed. In 2009 the debut single “Monkey Trousers” was released on 7″ vinyl and in March 2011 the debut album “Play Something We Know” also saw the light of day.
There is still much more to come from this Beatles/Kinks inspired beat combo.
